THE PROBLEM

In today's world, people are rarely presented with both sides of the coin. Curated opinions, algorithmic feeds and media bias mean most of us absorb one perspective and argue from it as though it were the full picture. The result is a society that is information-rich and perspective-poor. Zero Sum exists to change that.

THE METHOD

Every policy contains a transfer. Value moves from one set of economic actors to another. Our job is to trace that movement. We do not judge it. We apply a consistent analytical framework to every case study: the same four actors, the same heads/tails structure, the same discipline.

THE RULE

For every winner we identify, we ask: who paid for that? If we can always answer that question, we're doing our job. If we can't find who paid, we dig deeper. They're always there.

We are not left-wing or right-wing. We do not advocate for any policy position. We do not tell you what to think. We advocate independent thought and critical thinking. We trust you to form your own conclusions from the complete picture.
